DRAGONS LOVE TACOS by Adam Rubin

3711058This is a New York Times Bestselling Book and Notable Book.

This is just a fun book!  It is silly and imaginative.  Dragons love parties, did you know?  And to make the party so inviting that they will all want to come is to have tacos, all kinds of tacos, and lots of them.  The one part of taco flavoring that must be tended to carefully is the salsa, though.  It better not be too spicy or … you know, that fire that sometimes goes with dragons, well, the spicy salsa can cause some REAL problems!!!

The artwork is colorful, creative, and totally goofy.  Daniel Salmieri works in watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil to create the cartoon illustrations.

Read this with kids and with enthusiasm and silliness in your voice!  Laughter goes along with the reading of this cute book.  Just look at the cover!  How can you not laugh right from the get-go?

  1. We love this book! My son wants to have a Dragons Love Tacos birthday party because (fun fact!) the invitation in the book has his birthday (Nov. 23) on it.
